My Family Tree is a free, easy-to-use app that lets you create highly detailed genealogical trees with almost no effort.
The genealogic tree in My Family Tree begins with the first member of the family. This can be anyone, as you will be creating the rest of the tree based on the relationship with this first person: father, mother, siblings, spouse, children and so on.
Each entry in My Family Tree includes a bunch of data about the person: name, date and place of birth, genetic information (blood group, eye color and so on) and a special area to write a short biography. You can also attach photos and videos.
Besides the traditional tree view, My Family Tree offers other ways to view the information, such as a timeline and a complete series of statistics that compile the most outstanding events along the years: births, deaths, marriages, etc.
Once completed, the tree in My Family Tree can be saved, printed or exported to GEDCOM, a genealogic tree standard format. There aren’t many configuration options when printing the tree, but given that you can add media files to the tree, leaving it on the computer is probably a better option.
